National Tourism Digital Platform

Visit Bulgaria was developed as a large-scale digital tourism platform designed to present the country through destinations, travel experiences, routes, events, and practical visitor information in a clear and engaging way. The main objective was to transform a large amount of tourism content into an accessible web experience that helps both local and international visitors easily discover places, plan trips, and explore Bulgaria through a modern digital interface.

Challenge

The project required structuring extensive multilingual content while keeping navigation intuitive and fast across desktop and mobile devices. One of the main challenges was organizing destinations, categories, seasonal experiences, and events into a scalable content architecture that remains easy to manage and expand over time. Performance optimization was also essential due to the large number of media assets, location-based pages, and continuously updated tourism content.

Solution

Our solution focused on building a content-driven web platform with clear destination discovery flows, advanced filtering logic, multilingual support, and SEO-friendly page structures.

The interface was designed to help users quickly move between destinations, tourism categories, and useful travel resources, while maintaining a clean visual hierarchy and strong national brand identity. The result is a modern tourism ecosystem that supports exploration, inspiration, and long-term digital growth.

Highlighted Features

The platform includes destination pages, tourism category sections, route discovery, event listings, media-rich content blocks, multilingual navigation, search-friendly architecture, responsive layouts, and a scalable CMS structure that allows continuous content expansion without affecting usability.
